The Ministry is divided into specialized departments that work collectively to achieve the ministry's objectives.

Coordinates crop production, distribution of inputs (seeds, fertilizers), and general farming support services.
Oversees animal husbandry, veterinary health, disease control, and livestock development programs.
Manages fish farming, inland water fishing, and supports fishermen with training and inputs.
Provides on-the-ground advisory services, training, and technology transfer to farmers across LGAs.
Conducts agricultural research, data collection, policy planning, monitoring, and evaluation of projects.
